Our funding
We do not ask for or receive any public cultural funding. Instead we are entirely self-sufficient from the regular fees paid by our members and the ticket income. This covers the costs of venues, technical and digital support, and fees for our musical directors, soloists and musicians - to travel to Skye or fly to the Highlands.
Hospitality sponsors
We are grateful to Torabhaig Distillery for being our hospitality sponsors - it means that our guests go away with a quality gift from the Island.
We also thank the Raasay Distillery for other gifts
Venue support
Sabhal Mòr Ostaig for its venues for rehearsals and the concert, and the loan of staging.
The Elders of the Free Church of Scotland Shepherd’s Way Church - Dr Charles L Crichton for set-up support and in 2026 to the Rev Donnie G MacDonald for providing emergency accomodation after the concert when the main road was closed with snow.
