Where we sing

Our rehearsals and performances take place on the Isle of Skye. Our Members also come over the Skye Bridge from Lochcarron, Kyle of Lochalsh and well beyond Glenelg. The two furthest travelled have over 80 miles between them. Despite sometimes trying conditions, attendance is regular and life-enhancing.

Rehearsals

We rehearse weekly in Skeabost Hall in the north and Breakish Hall near Broadford.

We also meet monthly, usually in Broadford Church of Scotland, or St Mary’s Church, Portree.

Concerts

We have held regular Christmas carol concerts in Broadford Church.

As a main perfomance venue we are thankful for the support of Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the Gaelic College in Sleat. This seats around 150 people on raked seats with a very lively acoustic.

Shepherd’s Way Church in Portree is the fantastic new Portree Free Church which can seat up to 250 people.

We are grateful to the management of both venues for opening up their brilliant spaces for us.
